Return Rod (French Curtain Rod)

Our 7/8" diameter return rods (French rods) are handmade to your specifications with a graceful 90 degree return at each end.

French return curtain rods are not just for looks! This sleek design was made to keep the light from peeking out from behind your curtains. Great for bedrooms or spaces where you want to have control over the brightness of the room. This also adds a few inches of extra rod on each side that goes into the wall making it a great choice for tight spaces. French return curtain rods allow the drapes to stack back against the rod giving you a clean and polished look.

The projection on this rod is 3.5" to rod center. 7/8" rods over 72" long will require center support mounts.

The standard mounting bracket used are 3/4" wide by 4" high. 1.75in C-Rings are required if you need the curtain to draw past the support mounts. If you require a bypass mount, please let us know in the "Special Instructions" box.

Details & Dimensions

To protect your rod from damage during shipping it is best for us to split 7/8″ diameter rods over 73″ in the center and ship in two pieces. When our rods are split for shipping, they and joined together internally with a center connector so there is never a bump for your curtains to hang up on.
